Responsible for designing, developing, teaching, evaluating and documenting outcomes of both clinical and non-clinical teaching and training programs to improve practices for the patient’s safety and well-being.
Works as liaison between Quality and RT to develop an annual performance improvement plan that is based on department goals and quality outliers.
Develops annual Education plan with goals and performs and document annual competency for the department.
One year of clinical or teaching experience required.
Bachelors in management or education required. Respiratory Therapists that do not have Bachelors upon hire must show proof of enrollment in an accredited program within six months of hire and completion of the program within two years.
FL RRT license & RRT credential designated by the NBRC. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
